2-4 Amendments

1. I think that people should be able to own anything they want. But if that thing could be used to hurt someone or possibly kill them then I don't think that person should have that item (gun).

2. I think people should open their homes to a soldier because what if they had no other place to go and they asked someone if they could stay in their house and they say no, then that soldier would probably die or close to it.

3. A situation where the police would have to get a warrant to search a house would be like when someone has something illegal in their house like drugs or something. Or maybe they want to arrest someone for a crime they committed and needed to get in the house.

First Amendment

1. Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities. - Freedom Of Speech Protects This.

2.Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting. - Freedom Of Speech Protects This.

3.Write a letter for the editorial page of a newspaper in which you criticize a state legislator. - Freedom Of The Press Protects This.

4.Circulate a petition calling for the repeal of an unpopular law. Right To Petition Protects This.



The first amendment is important because without it people couldn't say whatever they want. And because we wouldnt be able to right petitions.
